The Retail Buying Internship Role:

As a Sip summer intern, you will receive a first hand glimpse at what it’s like to work at the world’s first palate-first champagne discovery platform. During the 4 month  program, you will tackle projects alongside our small but mighty team, with the opportunity to make a real impact on The Sip’s  business.Our paid internships are ideal for ambitious students or recent grads who thrive in ambiguity, like a good challenge, and want a jump start on their career development. Oh, and interested in tasting a lot of great quality Champagne along the way (we take our research very seriously!)

 The Retail Buying Strategy team plays an active role in the development of The Sip's retail strategy through the planning, assessment, and communication of activities, data and metrics. As a Retail Strategy intern, you support many key retail projects across a broad spectrum of subjects.  

The Sip Internship program is a 4 month program. The program begins June 6th and Ends September 30th.

What You Will Learn & Your Impact:

  • Alongside Retail Strategy team, work with key leaders in analysis of business problems; identify key issues, and develop work plans; participate in cross-functional work streams; synthesize findings, develop presentations, and communicate action items and recommendations to the leadership team
  • Support interpretation and analysis of business trends across key retail performance indicators including revenue, traffic, conversion, ADS, operating expenses, client satisfaction and other metrics
  • Support the CEO  in synthesizing input from a variety of sources to create, consolidate, and prioritize retail strategies
  • Assist in developing materials (e.g., executive presentations, reports) to communicate strategy throughout the organization

Who We are Looking For:

  • Are currently working on completion or have completed a Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Business, Finance/Accounting); analytical aptitude/experience a plus
  • Are organized and detail-oriented with strong communication skills (written/verbal) in order to effectively  manage projects
  • Are comfortable with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Google Suite Products
  • Can synthesize complex and ambiguous information to solve problems
  • Can multi-task effectively in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment where your role may adapt to business demands
  • Actively seek creative solutions and love a challenge
  • Are eager to learn, grow, and have fun!
